"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
The bible also tells us that if we repent of our sin and trust in Jesus our sin is blotted out:Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;(Acts 3:19)
Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, if we repent of our sin and believe on Him, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - we will be saved.
